Meet The Staff:

Hello my name is Kevin Hoagland and I am looking forward to my first summer at U.S.C I am a Health and Physical Education teacher in East Rutherford, I teach grades 9-12 in Phys Ed, Health, and Drivers Education. I also have 14 years of camp experience, starting as a counselor and moving all the way up to Director of Sports. I love playing golf, traveling, and finding new restaurants to enjoy. I also coach high school swimming, baseball, soccer, and volleyball.

Robin Ponticello

Head Counselor

My name is Robin, an energetic and positive mother of two adult children. I have experience in varied businesses, however, I am proud to say, I dedicated the last 15 years of my career working with children. I am a certified Para, having worked in classrooms offering one on one emotional support. During the school year, I am an Elementary School Secretary, where I also serve as the Before and After Manager. I love working with children and interacting with their families. I am passionate about emerging students in hands-on activities, especially through the creative arts, while keeping safety and well-being the number one priority. I am looking forward to being a part of your child’s camp experience.

Paulina Salem Scheduling
 

Paulina is a mother of four girls and one boy. She is a second grade teacher at Yeshivah of Flatbush and she also teaches English at Yeshivah of Flatbush High School. In her free time, she likes to read books, watch TV, play with her kids, and take her computer coding class. She became a teacher because she loves the wonder and enthusiasm that she sees in children every day. 

Johnathan Green-Groves

Field Supervisor

Hi my name is johnathan and I’m entering my second year at Vic’s USC. it is my goal to ensure all athletic operations go accordingly, and make sure our kids play safely throughout the summer. Can’t wait!

Kriza C. Tupe
Head Counselor

Kriza has her Master's degree in Public Administration (MPA) and certification in Public Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Kean University. She is an embedded elementary school ELA and Math educator for NJ Tutoring Corp., along with being a substitute teacher in Ocean County. Kriza pivoted her career towards education because she finds working with children to be fun and fulfilling! She is incredibly excited for camp and is looking forward to an awesome summer!
